Lotto Jackpot Now €6700
Our most recent Lotto draw was held on Monday 6 April in The Beech Tree and the numbers drawn were 5 10 26 and 27 and there was one match three winner that being Barbara Mc Cormack who wins €100 so well done to Barbara. No Jackpot winner so next draw on Sunday 19 April will be for a Jackpot of €6700 and will be in Ryans.
Underage games:
Kilbeggan/St Josephs season at underage level really kicked off over the past week with a number of games. The Under 14's participated in the Feile competition on Saturday 4 April and were very unlucky not to progress going out on scoring difference to Shandonagh. The Minors defeated Tyrrellspass in the league while the Under 16's were comprehensive winners over Milltownpass also in the league. Overall a very positive start to the year at underage level for the club.
Golf Classic:
St Josephs GAA will be holding our Golf Classic on Monday 1st June at Esker Hills Golf Club. This is the June Bank Holiday and its a great date to get in Esker Hills and after last years success, we are confident that this years event will be an even bigger event. Teams of four will cost €120 which is great value at €30 per head and is the same as last year.There will be prizes for GUI and non GUI teams with the usual prizes for longest drive and nearest to the pin making for a great day's outing. Tee times available from 8-30am to 4-30pm. The club will be looking for Sponsors for tee boxes and greens at a cost of €50 per sponsorship. We are looking for your support for this venture as it is our major fund raiser for the year.
Cash for Clubs
St Josephs have registered for the Topaz Cash for Clubs Promotion which has a Prize fund of €200000.
You collect a stamp when you spend €40 on fuel at any Topaz Station no matter where it is in Ireland.
We are asking our members to help us gather the 300 cards needed to have a genuine chance of getting extra funds for our GAA club. There is no cost apart from choosing to fill up your vehicle at a Topaz Station.
