Both these sides locked horns in Rochfortbridge last saturday in awful weather conditions.St.Marys were first to take the lead and and that was responded by garrycastle.St.Marys with the wind and just not making great use with it in the opening half.This was a low scoring half and teams having it hard to deal with conditions all afternoon.St.Marys were ahead at the break by the minimum at the break.1-02 -1-01.The second half seen Garrycastle having the wind and St.Marys having to work extremily hard with the wind and rain in there faces,but the lads kept going and we seen some wonderful scores and the workrate was great.St.Marys started building up a big lead but that was pegged back by Garrycastle late on but this was to be a win for the st.marys side with a brilliant second half display.st.marys 3-04 - garrycastle 1-08
U16 leinster league rd3 St.Marys vs Duleek/Bellewstown
St.Marys made the long trip to duleek to face a very good duleek side.Our lads deserve huge credit the way they played this game after been on the road the last two weeks it was going to be tough.We seen some great points scoring and great overall workrate and St.Marys came away with a fabulous win by just a point.
