Thanks again for the continued donations we receive supporting our 2014
GOAL Christmas Mile challenge - your generousity is most grateful and
will go towards securing better lives for those in the most difficult of
circumstances, both at home and abroad. Go raibh mile maith agaibh.

Castledaly Seniors training continues Tuesday and Fridays at GAA grounds
and Castledaly have been delighted to welcome John Donnellan of Tuam to
the club as he takes up the manager position.  John arrives with an
impressive resume listing his GAA achievements, not least two All
Ireland medals with his native Galway county.   John already knows the
squad well after taking over training at end of last year as we fought
to secure Senior status.  John has continued this year in determined
fashion and already has a number of training sessions under his belt so
early in the year.  The squad are possibly in fitter condition already
than at this time any previous year with everyone aware of the hard work
ahead and last years experience has added a steely determination to
ensure improvement and show what this squad are really capable of.

Castledaly GAA membership for 2015 is now due with fees unchanged again this year -
Over 18s = 25euro, Under 18s = 10 euro & Family Ticket = 50 Euro (covers 2 adults and 2 Under 18s).    Membership can be paid to club registrar Niall O'Neill.  Club registration day details will be advised next week

Congratulations to Moate All Whites GAA on performance in Junior All Ireland semifinal. Sadly not their day as Mitchells secured the win.

Castledaly GAA - 75 Years in Community" is available for purchase at Castledaly's Local Shop, Heavin's Home Improvements, Westmeath Independent office, Grennan's Agri Supplies (Moate), Mulhall's, and many other locations.  An educational and entertaining read for anyone with interest in local GAA and community history
