Well done to the young footballers who attended the County u14 and good luck: Megan D'Arcy, Orla Fox, Molly Keating, Emma Lancaster, Rebecca Ayres and Aine Murphy.

Under14 Girls
U14 Girls are returning to training on Tuesday February 3rd

Get Fit with Bal
Westmeath Sports Partnership will be on site in Ballycomoyle for six weeks from Feb Tuesday 3. This gives parents the opportunity to spend an hour getting fit while their children train. Hope to see everyone there. We ask for a nominal contribution of 2 euro from participants to cover the costs of the training.

Underage boys
Under 12 boys training continued on Saturday last in Ringtown GAA hall.  Great turnout again on Saturday with some few more lads joining us.  Training will continue next Saturday at 3pm in Ringtown and all players are asked to ensure they bring their mouthguard with them.  Thanks to all the parents for getting the lads to training as it is much appreciated by the coaches. Thanks must go to Ringtown GAA and Thady Burke for allowing us use their fantastic facility.Club membership is now due and all parents are asked to ensure they get the kids registered so as they are cover for insurance for the coming year.  Registration forms can be got from team coaches.All underage boys teams parents will be contacted very soon about a return to training and contact numbers for team coaches.

Gaeltacht Scholarships
CLG Iarmhí will sponsor 5 part scholarships to Coláistí Samhraidh and applications are invited from club members.  Any member of the intending on going to the Gaeltacht this should apply.  forms are available from the club secretary, [email protected] 0879268049 or either the ladies and underage secretary.Forms should be returned to Catherine Daly by Jan 31st. Interviews will be held in mid February and applicants will be informed of their interview details by text.

Coaching
Worskhops continue on Monday 26th January from 7pm to 9pm.We are hoping to run an in house coaching course on Saturday 14th Feb and Saturday 7th March.All club coaches are asked to ensure that Noel Morgan has your e-mail address so as all coaches can receive and share coaching information within the club. This is best way to improve our coaching standards within the club.

Club Gear
Anyone wishing to get club gear are asked to contact James McHugh 0874668265 or John Coyle 0879871347.  Both James and John are putting together a list of gear and prices and the y hope to have it on facebook very soon.

Mens Team
Preparation for the season ahead is looking very strong with a brilliant turnout of players at last Sunday mornings training session.  Training continues Friday eve at 8pm in Ballycomoyle, text messages will be sent out by Seamus, if you're not getting the text messages please let Seamus know as soon as possible.
