Moate prepare for final

Moate will face stiff opposition in Sunday week's Leinster club JFC final.

The Westmeath champions take on Kildare counterparts Straffan in Cusack Park, Mullingar and they will certainly be the toughest opposition that Paul Conroy's charges will have face to date.

Straffan eased through to the final following a comfortable win over Laois side Courtwood and they go into the final as slight favourites.

Nonetheless, Moate have been outstanding all year and they are now the last Westmeath club left in Leinster club action.

Straffan will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of Two Mile House who won the Leinster title last year, but if Moate play to the best of their abilities, they are more than capable of pulling off the win here.
