Best of luck to all of the senior panel in Parnell Park next Sunday. The club is organising a bus from the Garrycastle GAA Clubhouse to Parnell Park . Cost is €15 per Adult and €8 per child.

The only stop on the way up or back is at the Enfield Service Station.

Garrycastle Under-8 end-of-year party

The Garrycastle Under-8 group headed off on Monday evening to The Planet on Grace Road for our annual end-of-year party. This is our way, as a club, to say a huge "Thank You!" to all the young players who turn out every week for training and matches.

This year we had 10-pin bowling, Quasar (laser tag), and much more on offer for the players, followed up with some tasty food and drinks, and some thankfully short comments by the team mentors for the last year. Pictures are available on our website at

When we planned this evening out, it was intended to be our final event for 2014 with this group, but now we have one more (at least!) day out! Our senior team play St. Vincents of Dublin in the Leinster Senior Club Football Semi-final on Sunday next, and St. Vincents have kindly invited our under-8 squad to travel up to them and play a few challenge games before the big match. Needless to say, we accepted! All parents will be contacted with details on travel etc.

Our indoor sessions are back for the winter in the clubhouse, and details on times and age groups will be texted to all parents as usual.
