U14 county final
St.Marys vs Inny Shamrocks
Both these sides locked horns in cusack park last saturday morning.
Inny started the stronger and got the first few scores and most importantly got the first goal. Both sides were really playing some great football and it wasnt long before St.Marys were on the scoreboard themselves. We seen some brilliant fielding and some cracking indevidual play.It was nip and tuck through the first half and just before the break inny netted again to give the a cushin at half time.St.Marys came out in the second half and really put it up to inny shamrocks and got some brilliant scores and were back in the game within 10 mins and we seen some brilliant fielding throughout the second half and the game was put on hold due to a fire in the area and smoke was billowing into the ground.Five mins past and the game got going again St.Marys were really having to work hard for there frees but always kept going, but in the end it was inny that snatched it.Credit our lads they never gave up and unlucky to be on the losing end of this game.st.marys 1.07 inny shamrocks 3.04.
