Johnson expects tough test

Garrycastle selector Gary Johnson believes that Sunday's SFC semi final against Coralstown-Kinnegad will be a lot closer than their group clash.

When the sides met in the group stages, Garrycastle recorded a comfortable win, but the Kinnegad based outfit were already through to the knockout stages and Johnson is adamant that result will count for nothing at Cusack Park on Sunday afternoon.

"To be fair, I think when we met in the last group game they were already assured of a place in the semi-final, so we expect a very different sort of challenge from Coralstown-Kinnegad on Sunday," Johnson told the Westmeath Independent.

"They will be very well organised and hard to break down, so we will need to be at our best. Coralstown-Kinnegad will be confident given their form in the group and it should be a very good game of football."
