Westmeath Camogie notes
July 28, 2014With just one remaining fixture in the rounds of the competition, Westmeath will travel to Dublin seeking to qualify for the semi-finals. The venue for the game has yet to be confirmed. Details will be available in the Fixtures section of www.camogie.ie.

Westmeath Examiner Club Championship.
On last Thursday 24th July Round 3 of the championship was played. There were a number of close exciting games on the evening with wins for Raharney, Delvin, Castletown Geoghegan in Group A and Cullion and Lough Lene Gaels in Group B. Round 2 of the Championship will be fixed for a later date. Fixtures for Round 4 to be played on next Wednesday 30th July are shown in the Fixtures section below.
Under 16 Championship.
With one remaining semi-final in the Under 16 'A' championship the final pairings are not fully concluded. The finals will be deferred until August and details will be available to camogie supporters in advance of the fixtures. The Premier final will see Clonkill and Raharney compete for the cup and the 'A' final will be between Crookedwood and the winners of Lough Lene Gaels v Cullion.
Under 14 Championship
A date is yet to be set for the Under 14 premier final and at this time it is hoped to play the game on 22nd August.
Lough Lene Gaels will play Crookedwood in the 'A' final on Tuesday 29th July (Venue to be confirmed).
U12 Mini-League
A round of the Under 12 mini-league is being played on Monday 28th July. The third round will be played on Monday 4th August. Semi-finals are fixed for 18th August with finals to be played on Saturday 30th August.
U8/10 Blitz.
The next U8/10 blitz will be on Saturday 9th August. The host clubs are Delvin, Castletown Geoghegan, Castlepollard, Clonkill.

Delegates please note that the date of the next Camogie board meeting in Westmeath is Tuesday, 5 August at 8 PM.
All clubs are asked to be represented at the meeting.
