FIXTURES
ON Saturday next 26th of July our intermediate squad take on Caulry in the next round of the New Forest Intermediate Football Championship at 6pm in Moate. This will be a formidable encounter with the winner in a very strong position to finish well up the points table and with genuine semi final hopes as there are two remaining games in the league section of the competition. We wish our boys every success and welcome all support for the game.
NEW FOREST INTERMEDIATE CHAMPIONSHIP RESULT
Mullingar Shamrocks 1-4 Shandonagh 2-16
On Friday night last, we travelled the short distance to Cusack Park, Mullingar to take on Mullingar Shamrocks 2nd team in the second round of the 2014 New Forest Intermediate Football Championship. Despite what the above scoreline says, the game took it's toll on the squad with a number of our players out for the next period of time through injury and a likely suspension. The consequences of these absences mean that the remaining members will need to exert themselves even further over the next few weeks on the training and playing pitches if we are to achieve championship success in 2014.
