Bride and groom Jean Collentine and Larry Boyle got a big surprise when the Sunday Game panel appeared at their wedding in Mullingar's Bloomfield House Hotel last Friday.

No sooner had best man James Boyle finished his speech than the iconic Sunday Game jiggle sounded and Messrs Lyster, O'Rourke and Spillane appeared on a big screen with a pre-recorded verdict on Larry's GAA career which had the newlyweds and their guests in stitches.

The panel discussed Turin clubman Larry's hurling prowess with Colm O'Rourke joking: "They (Turin) are a rough crowd!"

When anchor Michael Lyster put it to the panel that Larry had once marked Westmeath football star Denis Glennon in an U21 match, Pat Spillane jokingly remarked: "It's nice to be talking about weaker counties for a change. Do we ever talk about Westmeath?"

The Kerry legend had the following words of advice for the new couple: "Marriage is always about thinking the glass is half full with no thinking back."

Uploaded by the fiancé of the best man, Edel Morrissey, the hilarious video is well on course to becoming a YouTube hit.
