Leinster U20 Hurling Championship - Tier 2

 

Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club extends its sincere congratulations to Westmeath, the Na Piarsaigh representatives especially, on a 5.18 to 0.13 victory versus Derry in a Round 3 Divisional fixture of Tier 2 of the Leinster U20 Hurling Championship, played at Mullingar's TEG Cusack Park on Saturday afternoon April 13th. Two weeks previously, at Navan's Pairc Tailteann on Saturday March 30th, in a Round 1 fixture of the same competition, Westmeath 2.14 and Meath 0.20, played out a drawn encounter. Westmeath now advance to the next phase of the Leinster U20 Hurling Championship, ahead of Meath on the basis of a superior scoring difference, Meath having defeated Derry on a 1.16 to 1.10 scoreline in a Round 2 fixture, played at Navan's Pairc Tailteann on Saturday April 6th. 

Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club extends its sincere best wishes to Westmeath in the next phase of the Leinster U20 Hurling Championship.

 

Congratulations on Camogie success

 

Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club extends its sincere congratulations to Westmeath on winning the Very National Camogie league Division 2A competition. In the final, played last Sunday at Croke Park, Dublin, victory went to Westmeath, versus Derry, on a 4.08 to 0.16 final score. Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club was represented by Caoimhe McCrossan on the Westmeath starting XV.
