St Loman's GAA Club Notes

March 23, 2020

Best Wishes:

The club wishes a speedy recovery to former player, senior selector, academy coach and club stalwart Robbie Kenny who was involved in a nasty accident recently. He has suffered injuries but thankfully has been in touch and has expressed his gratitude after all the kind messages he received from the entirety of St Lomans. The man is hard as nails and we hope to see him back as soon as possible. Robbie is an integral part of the Lomans family and from all at the club we’d like to say get well soon Robbie!

Covid-19 Update:

We have decided to close our club grounds due to Covid-19. This is done for the benefit of the public. We urge everybody to stay healthy, limit social interactions and mind yourself. As Taoiseach Leo Varadkar said last Tuesday “Let it be said that when things were at their worst, we were at our best”. We can make a real difference here, please follow all HSE guidelines.

Congratulations:

Our very own Meabh Killalea who plays for our minor ladies team and 4 of her friends are through to the final of an international engineering competition. To vote for their project you need to *like* their video which is linked on the Loreto College Mullingar Facebook page. Please like the video and ask everyone you know to do the same.

Local Business Support:

This is a challenging time for all of us not just in terms of our health which is the number one priority. It’s also a difficult time financially for many people including businesses. We at St Lomans our encouraging all to give back for all the support we’ve received in the past!
