Mickey Burke has accepted John Heslin's challenge to have a snowball fight to decide the O'Byrne Cup final!
After the final of the pre-season competition between neighbours Westmeath and Meath was postponed for a third time thanks to a combination of the 'Beast from the East' and Storm Emma, Westmeath captain Heslin jokingly suggested that they should have a snowball fight instead at the county boundary in Kinnegad. Meath star Burke lives just a few miles away in Longwood and was pictured in Kinnegad yesterday with a snowball in hand and ready for battle!
They better get on with it soon before all the snow melts...
