Glen Rovers 1-9

Ballygunner have qualified for the Munster Club SHC final courtesy of a seven point victory over Glen Rovers in Walsh Park.

Denis Walsh's men outscored their Cork visitors by 0-16 to 1-1 during a devastating second-half display.

They trailed by 0-3 to 0-8 at the halfway stage but they assumed control of proceedings when hitting 10 points without reply.

A super Pat Horgan goal failed to reignite Glen Rovers' challenge and Ballygunner finished strongly with Stephen Power (2), Brian O'Sullivan (2) and Shane O'Sullivan sending over points.

The Waterford standard bearers now await the winners of the second semi-final between Na Piarsaigh and Thurles Sarsfields.
