Youth Update

A massive well done to our girls teams who participated in the JFfrench annual tournament last weekend. It was a fantastic day and the girls played 6 hard group games which included 2 teams over from Ireland. They progressed then onto the Plate championship final, where they successfully defeated St Lawrence's from Manchester. This is a great achievement for the girls and they battled long and hard throughout every game to put up some fantastic displays of football. We would like to thank all the parents for their support and a very big thank you to Tara's GFC for a fantastic tournament and wonderful hospitality on the day.

Well done to:  Leona, Ciara, Maia, Charlotte, Maura, Lily, Chloe, Tara & Jemma.

This Saturday 16th September this year's newly formed U12 side travel down to Gael Londain to play in this year's semi final against Gael Londain. Victory will put them in the final against the winners of Thomas McCurtains and St Kiernan's. Please get down to support the team if you're free. 10 of these players had never played for the club until this year so to reach this stage has been a fantastic achievement. The game takes place at Gael Londain at 12noon.

Keep an eye out for photos on our facebook page.

Now for a few date to keep free in you diaries!

Dates for the diary:

St Claret's 3rd Annual Youth Day - this will be held on Saturday 30th September starting at 12 noon on the pitch on Kingshill Ave. The day will involve participation from all our youth players from U6 up to U16. The annual match of mums against girls to play for the Chloe Buckley Cup will take place. Plus the annual Dads against lads game to play for the Denis McCarthy Cup.  The day will take place rain or shine and tea and buns will be on sale.  If anyone out there is able to donate some homemade buns or scones that would be fantastic. Flyers will be handed out at training, we would ask that everyone in the club takes part in this day as it's the one day of the year where we all come together and display our true St Clarets spirit by supporting and remembering what St Claret's is all about.

Youth Presentation evening - this will take place on Friday 3rd November this year at Slough Irish Club, starting at 7.30pm.  This evening is for all our youth players to come along and celebrate the season. We would also like to see as many of our club members there as well, everyone is welcome.
