On Saturday the 22nd November Wolfe Tones made the trip to Pairc na hEireann in Birmingham to take on a much fancied St Declans of Hertfordshire in the inaugural All Britain Shield final with Wolfe Tones emerged victorious on the day on a scoreline of 0-17 to 0-08.

The Liverpool based side only formed 18 months ago and this season began competing in the UK competition, based in the Wavertree area of the city they have seen the squad grow in numbers over the 18 months to include playing members from 13 different counties. Founded and led by Cork man Richie Barry the club is looking to push on to Division 1 next season and all within the Lancashire County are confident of a bright future for this young club.
