Tir Chonaill Gaels were successfully back in action just a week after winning the London club SFC title.

Once again, they faced rivals Fulham Irish in a final and once again it was TCG that came out on top, although this one was even closer than their county final clash.

Just a solitary point separated the sides as TCG defeated Fulham by 2-11 to 2-10 in the Cara Stationary Division 1 football league final last weekend.

Cathal Magee and Darren Gilsenan got the all important goals for the eventual winners and credit must go to both sides for producing such an excellent display so soon after the county final.
