The 2014 All-Britain Championships have been hailed a huge success.

Almost 1500 kids took part in the hurling and football championships held at Ti Chonaill Gaels grounds in Greenford last weekend.

Provincial council chairman Brendie Brien told the Irish Post that they were delighted with the response to the championships.

"The most satisfying part of the whole weekend was seeing the enjoyment of the parents and the children," said Brien. "The venue is one of the best in Britain and we owe huge thanks to our hosts Tir Chonaill Gaels, 40 of whom helped as volunteers."
