Following the conclusion of London's National Football League campaign, the exiles now turn their attentions to the Connacht SFC.

London face a tough opener as they take on Galway at Ruislip next month and they will go into that match as huge underdogs.

However, the exiles are used to that tag and they take on a Galway side that have produced some very erratic performances in the league this year, just narrowly avoiding relegation from Division Two.

London manager Paul Coggins stressed to the Irish Post that he is pleased by the progress that the side has made during the league.

He said: "Overall I'm happy enough with the league. We gave some competitive performances. We'll drive on now for the Galway match." Tweet
