Lough should do the double but Killeshil have shown that they are a Championship outfit. May leave another playoff place if the Lough do it !!

Loughmacrory winning the league wasn't a big surprise, but I think they might struggle in Division 2 next year. Their road to the junior championship final wasn't very convincing and looking at the teams just below them in the league they only beat Clogher by a point, lost to Fintona and drew with Newtownstewart. The difference between those three teams and Loughmacrory is that the lough had confidence and consistent form to beat the mid and lower table teams that comes from playing in a higher grade for a good number of years, but Clogher Fintona and Newtownstewart threw too many points away against sides they should have picked up against. If Killeeshil can keep their current team together they should do ok next year. It will be worth looking at who wins the promotion play off in division 3 as I think whoever it is has a chance against Derrytresk.

Killeeshil lost games against Clogher, Dregish, Aghaloo and the derg. Also drew a few, seriously doubt if that will be good enough in div 2. I reckon the Lough will do ok, very unlucky to go down last year.

So Clogher, Fintona and Newtownstewart are all safely through to the play-offs with the winners of Brocagh or Beragh set to join them.
If the Beragh and Brocagh game ends in a draw however it will see both teams tied with Castlederg on 19 points!
Anyone know for certain how this is sorted out? Does it go down to head to head between the 3 teams, overall score difference or will it take a further couple of games to sort them out?

How can you work out it as head-to-head if three teams are involved??? Answers on a postcard

Just taking into account the games between these 3 teams:
Castlederg beat Beragh = Derg 2 points
Brocagh beat Castlederg = Brocagh 2 points
If Beragh and Brocagh draw = Point each.

Which leaves:
Brocagh - 3 points
Castlederg - 2 points
Beragh - 1 point.

If there's more than 2 teams tied on the same points it is decided by score difference.

Throw that one at the CCC. Could you also explain the UEFA coefficient system?

I wouldn't be reading to much into the outcome of the brocagh-beragh game. All i can say is its a disgrace its mid November and there's still a league game left. JOKE

If more than two teams finish level on points it goes down to score difference as long as none of the teams had a game where they or their opponent did not field. As Castlederg have a better score difference according to that table on the county website then they will go through if Beragh and Brocagh ends in a draw.

What's your verdicts on the playoffs

I think Newtown will be the team to come out on top. Division two for these boys next season.

Tyronehead123 Derrytresk is too strong? I think out of the four teams left anyone of them is more than capable of handling Derrytresk. Let's not forget it was only 2 years ago when Derrytresk where struggling to beat these teams and some of them they could never beat.

Newton and brogach are very poor with clogher not much better and fintona far to inconsistent! only clogher and fintona have the ability to beat derrytresk in my opinion

Good luck to Newtownstewart this weekend. With the momentum they have gathered up over the last 4 weeks I think they will take this one.
