Pride of place goes this week to Senior Player Darragh Kavanagh, who has been awarded the Golden Boot Award for top scorer in Intermediate Football 2017. Darragh finished league football with an impressive scoring tally of 9-84 to his name.

Darragh will pick up his award at Team Talk All Star banquet in Bundoran on 24th November. Well done Darragh.

Grounds Security -We would ask anyone using the club grounds to ensure gates are closed and locked when last leaving Pobal an Ghleanna - Regional Irish Language Group are working in conjunction with An Eochair CLG to give the chance for one member from the community to learn Irish with Pobal an Ghleanna. Classes will begin 20th September in St.

Ciaran's College from 7-8pm for all levels catered for. Enter our competition on Facebook which closes Sunday 17th September.

60th Anniversary Celebration night: 1957 - 2017 - To celebrate our 60th Anniversary the club are organising a celebration night which will be held in Mid November, details to be confirmed next week. family Clogher on death of Margaret and to family and friends of Gary Askin, Emyvale who died following a tragic accident.

Community Garden Group took part in Mid Ulster Allotments gathering on Thursday at Dungannon Park, entering in four

categories. We were delighted to take home first prize in the category for 'Best Garden Photograph' and runner up in

'Afternoon Tea at Allotment' category. Group then donated exhibits to Dungannon Food Bank. A very satisfying day out

Apples Wanted - Group are looking for donations of apples for an Apple pressing event, by GIY North Tyrone. on

Saturday 30th September at 2 pm at Augher GFC Club grounds. Anyone who has excess apples and would like to donate

them please contact 07714145692 or bring them along on the day and bring home some freshly pressed apple juice.

All types of apples suitable, including windfalls and crab apples, which are very suitable for pressing.

' Mock Wedding ' You are all invited to a 'mock wedding' that takes place at Kelly's Inn on Saturday, September 30th, in aid

of the Kevin Bell Foundation. It's a local wedding with a difference and the event is sure to witness some lively exchanges

between the rival families of the bride and groom. The chances of the wedding passing off peacefully are remote but it

should be all good fun for a great cause. The fun begins at 8.30pm, with admission on the door £8 that includes a light

supper plus music to round off an entertaining evening.
