Football training continues for U8 boys (P3 & P4), U10 boys (P5 & P6) and U12 boys (P7 & Year 1) from 7.00 > 8.00 pm on Thursday (14th) evening.

The U10 boys made their way today to the Annual Moy Tournament last Saturday (9th). We had two teams of 9 turned out. The conditions underfoot were sticky and slippery for the lads. In fact some of the heavier management were at risk of being sent to the stand as they were making an awful muck along the sidelines!! The boys met Ballinderry and Slaughtneil early on. Both these teams proved too strong for the young Hoops, though we put up a good battle with every cub working to their maximum. We took to the stand to shelter from the rain and to gorge on Jaffa Cakes whilst we waited for our matches against Trillick. The lads had to give it their all as it was the last of their qualifiers. Our B team were very unlucky not to win their game, with very little in it. The A's really pulled out the stops and had a super game to end the morning with a good emphatic win. Unfortunately we hadn't secured enough points to make it to the knockout stages,  but the boys knew that they had all individually and collectively put in a good effort - their coaches couldn't have asked for more. Well done lads! The U12 boys are away to Moy this Saturday(16th) for the completion of their tournament which was halted a few weeks ago. All players meeting at the community centre at 8.45 am sharp.

Girls U8 (P3 and P4) and U10 (P5 and P6) training continues this Wednesday (13th) from 6 > 7 pm.

Our U8 & U10 girls enjoyed a great day out at the annual Errigal tournament last Saturday (9th). Killeeshil were one of the fortunate clubs to also have been able to field an U8 team to give all the girls a day of football. Despite the cold and wet weather, the girls played fantastic football and all really put in a team effort in both U8 and U10 games. Future is bright for the Hoopettes with the talent that can be seen coming up through our club. Well done girls! Special thanks to Orla Mulgrew and Sarah Millar also for stepping in to take the U10s on the day, thank you girls!

The U16 girls have a home game v Clonoe this Friday (15th) at 6.30pm, all support is much appreciated.

Our senior girls played St Macartan's in the Senior Championship Final on Saturday the 9th in Carrickmore. The girls showed great heart and determination in the game and tried their best right to the final whistle but unfortunately it wasn't good enough on the day and we lost on the score line of Killeeshil 2-6 St Macartan's 6-8. This is a very young bunch of players and they will have their day. These girls have gave serious dedication to the cause over the past few months and we wish them all the best as they go on pursuit of the league title. If they keep training hard, the rewards will soon be their's. The players and management would like to thank the supporters who came along to cheer them on and the support is greatly appreciated. Also thanks to the committee for all their help.

Training continues this week for our senior & reserve men on Wednesday (13th) at 7.30 pm as the men prepare for their remaining league games.
