On Saturday past (23rd), we hosted a very successful U8 lads Blitz which was attended by teams from Beragh, Drumragh, Omagh, Trillick and Killeeshil. On the day, weather conditions were ideal so we had great numbers attend which meant our youngest hoops had a great mornings football.  The Blitz was organised by Martin Russell and coordinated by Conor Holland who kept  all the teams busy, thanks guys. Thanks also to our managers on the day, Colm Quinn and Chris Canning for their expert coaching and to our referees Michael Russell, Michael Conlon and Jason Doyle who refereed, despite having a broken arm, so thats dedication for you! The day was finished off with an after-party, thanks to Michelle Foster and Siobhan Canning for helping out and to all the parents who provided food.

Also on Saturday morning (23rd), our U8 and U10 girls travelled to Aghaloo to compete in a Blitz. The U8 Girls done superbly as they put Donaghmore, Aghaloo and Edendork to the sword with 3 superb performances. Not to be outdone, our U10 Girls played Dungannon, Edendork and Aghaloo and none of them was a match for our girls. Congratulations to all the girls and their manager, Claire Hegarty on fantastic displays in every game and thanks to everyone who helped out on the day.

Fundamentals continues on Thursday evening this week from 7 > 8 pm, for all boys and girls in P1 and P2.

Football training is on Wednesday evening for all P3, P4, P5 and P6 girls at 7pm. Then on Thursday evening this week, all boys in P3 > P6 will have football training from 7 > 8pm. This Saturday morning (30th), we host an U10 (P5/P6) lads blitz in Killeeshil starting at 1030am.

Our U14 girls host Clonoe on Tuesday evening (26th) at 7pm in Killeeshil. Please go along to cheer on our girls (match report next week). Next training is on this Thursday 28th of April 6pm to 7pm.

The U14 boys qualified for the Tyrone Feile finals after coming through their group last Thursday night (21st) in Clogher. Their first game was against Gael Naomh, Killeeshil had all the play in the first half but failed to capitalise on this and went in at half time 0-2 to 0-1 up, in the 2nd half Gael Naomh Padraig got the upper hand hitting the net twice in 2 minutes and in a frantic last few minutes clawed it back to draw. Next up was Beragh and Killeeshil struggled with the physical size of their opponents and trailed at the break 2-1 to 0-1. However in the 2nd half, our battling spirit came to the fore again, as we scored 2-2 to Beraghs 0-1, meaning we won by 1 point. Our next opponents were Drumragh, who were an unknown quantity and unfortunately for Killeeshil they had too much class for our lads as they ran out winners. Our last game was against Aghaloo, where a win would put us through to the finals but after a few heavy defeats Aghaloo conceded leaving Killeeshil finishing 2nd and going through to the next round. We can now look forward to the finals where we would hope we can do our club proud with plenty of support behind us!!! Well done to the team and management on this achievement. The lads are training on Tuesday at 6.45pm. This Thursday (28th), the lads travel to Derrytresk to face St Patricks at 7pm. Transport leaving community centre at 6pm. All support is much appreciated.

Killeeshil minor girls play their 9th round game in the league at home to St MaCartans on Wednesday evening at 7pm. Please go support our young team.

Our minor lads exited the League at the quarter final stage last Wednesday (20th) after an epic battle in Dromore, which went to extra time and unfortunately the home side won by 2 pts. The lads face Galbally in the Championship Quarter Finals this Wednesday (27th) in Galbally at 7pm.  Please go support our talented young team.

Then on Sunday the 1st of May, our men's reserve and senior teams travel to Rock to face Rock in their next round of league games. Reserves is at 2.15pm and the senior game throws in at 3.45pm.  Please go support our men as they go in search of more league points. Training this week is on Monday and Friday at 7.30pm and we need all players (seniors & reserves) training.

Sunday the 1st of May will see our Senior ladies play their 2nd league game, away to Glenelly on Sunday evening (time to be confirmed). Please go cheer on our ladies in their search for another victory. Training continues Tuesdayand Friday evenings at 6:30 for all minor and senior ladies.
