"Moortown St. Malachy's GAC, in conjunction with our main event sponsor Forbes Racing are proud to announce Wan BIG Weekend.
"Moortown St. Malachy's GAC, in conjunction with our main event sponsor Forbes Racing are proud to announce Wan BIG Weekend, a fundraising festival running from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th May, held in the grounds of Tobin park Moortown in a huge custom built marquee, with full bar and seating!!

This weekend will rival anything Moortown have ever done before and our amazing line-up has something for everyone! !

FRIDAY 2nd MAY: On the Friday night we will play host to some of the biggest names in the sporting world as we hold a "Question of Sport" event, with panelists consisting of;

- The BBCs very own Mark Lawrenson (MOTD);
- RTEs Marty Morrissey;
- Gaelic Life & TG4s Jarlath Burns - who will be our host & compere for the evening;
- Former Tyrone GAA Stars Owen Mulligan & Frank McGuigan;
- Irish and Ulster Rugby legend Willie Anderson;
- Commonwealth Boxing Champion Martin Rogan; and,
- Horse racing expert John-Joe O'Neill.

This event will be held in conjunction with the Opt for Life charity and tickets are priced at £15 each. Due to the huge line up and anticipated demand, we would ask that you please secure your tickets early!!

SATURDAY 3rd MAY: The Saturday night will see some of Mid-Ulster's finest men take to the boards and put on a steamy one night only performance of the "Full (Half) Monty"!!

Ladies, you are in for a real treat - prepare to feast your eyes on the finest Candy the loughshore can offer. Rehearsals have been intense and these men are ready to put on a show that will blow you away!! Featuring the likes of Martin 'Cokey' Quinn, Stephen 'Weep' Lawn and Tony 'Brick' to name but a few, plus a very special guest appearance from Moortown's very own Mrs Brown - PATSY O'HAGAN, this is guaranteed to be a unique night of entertainment!! Music and a disco to late will follow the performance.

A donation from the proceeds of this event will be made to CLIC Sargent Cancer charity in conjunction with our support of the Charlie Craig and Oscar Knox appeals. Tickets are priced £12 each.

SUNDAY 4th MAY: After the success of our previous Bingo draws, we will be holding a "MONSTER BINGO EVENT" on the Sunday afternoon in the marquee with huge prizes up for grabs! Books can be bought on the day.
