ADULT FOOTBALL (Daoine Fásta)

 

Urney will begin their long awaited season on Sunday 19th July with a home game against neighbours Clan na nGael. The following week they are home again to another local side in Castlederg. Final preparations are being made for the season ahead and training continues within the Covid guidelines.

 

 

MATCH DAY SPONSORSHIP

 

With the release of the revised 2020 schedule we now know the senior and reserve leagues are due to begin on 19th July. With that in mind we are inviting businesses and supporters to sponsor the match ball for each senior game this season. 

 

This opportunity was introduced last year and was very popular with local businesses. Check out some of the previous posts to see feedback and responses.

 

For a contribution of £50 sponsors will receive

 

- Photograph with senior player at your place of business or club grounds.

- Pinned Facebook/twitter post/Advert.

- Complementary entry for 2 adults to a home game of your choosing.

 

Anyone who is interested in sponsoring please get in touch with the club Facebook page or any committee member.

 

Sponsors will be selected on first come first served basis.

 

 

YOUTH (An tAos Óg)

 

Training for our Under 14 & Under 12 boys returned last week, and it was great to see everyone back. The Next training session will take place this Thursday 9th July. Could parents have their child at the club for 6.45pm.

The Co. Board have also brought forward the start of the u14 league from 1st of August to the new starting date of Saturday 18th July where Urney will face Eskra.

The U12.5 league is due to start on Thursday 6th August and will be run over 4 weeks.

Urney GAA depend on local businesses for sponsorship, jerseys, prizes, etc... Let's get out and back into our local shops, bars and businesses.

Our latest Lockdown Lotto draw took place on Monday night 6th July Numbers are as follows, 8, 10,18 24. No jackpot winners. 4 match 3 winners share £50. Enda Bogle, June Potts, Sinead Bogle, Joanne Gordon.

 

Our LOCKDOWN LOTTO will continue next week with a cash prize of £700.00 for MATCH 4 or £50 for MATCH 3 if the jackpot is not won.

 

Envelopes will also be available in Flanagan's shop, Clady and can be left there for collection. Our collectors will call every Monday afternoon and any envelopes left will be added to our online sales and be included for that week's draw.

 

Each Monday night our Lotto draw will take place live on the clubs Facebook page.
