"Kerry are playing without fear"

Kerry's Stephen O'Brien and Conor Meyler of Tyrone

Tyrone’s Conor Meyler says he doesn’t see Sunday’s crunch All-Ireland SFC semi-final against Kerry coming down to experience.

Speaking to the Belfast Telegraph ahead of the Croker clash, the Red Hands’ utility man knows that he and his team mates are coming up against a largely younger side in the Munster champions which have been playing with “a looser strategy” than most teams.

"While we may be seen as maybe having an edge in experience, it has to be said that Kerry are playing without fear," he said.

"And that's something which could benefit them. They have a looser strategy and it's hard to know what some of them are going to do next, so you can set up whatever way you want but at the same time you have to be ready for anything.

"Even the manner in which they can transfer the ball into their forward line is class. I don't think experience might be the reason for one team winning or not. A lot of it will come down to what happens on the day."
