An Ghaeltacht selector and former Kerry footballer Dara Ó Cinnéide has urged the players to grasp the opportunity of reaching an All-Ireland club final.

Standing in their way of a place in next month's All-Ireland club IFC final at Croke Park are Tyrone champions Moy that can call on the likes of the Cavanagh brothers, Sean and Colm, as well as Philip Jordan.

Ó Cinnéide admitted to the Kerryman that An Ghaeltacht are known as a small team, but he feels that they can stand up to rigours of winter football at Portlaoise on Sunday.

"We're known as a young, light and fresh team but this will definitely be a time for showing we can cope with the grind of winter football in things such as controlling a difficult ball on the day," said Ó Cinnéide.

"We've tried to move it up a level with each performance since we have been in this run and we need to keep doing that on Sunday."
