60th Celebration night - This Saturday night 18th Nov. we celebrate 60 years of Augher GFC, from our humble
beginnings in 1957 to being one of the foremost clubs in the county today. This is not a fund raiser or an event to celebrate
high points in our history. It is to celebrate each and every Augher Gael over the years who supported, helped out or played
for our great club. We have great night planned commencing with a drinks reception at 8 pm followed by a very full night
of entertainment, food, drink and dancing.
To commemorate the occasion we also have a complimentary book of Augher GFC in pictures over 60 years which will
evoke many memories and discussions on the night and in the future.
This is a great night in our clubs history and not one to be passed over as "another auld club do". So let your relatives and
friends know and come along yourselves for a great night of craic and nostalgia.
Special guest on the night will be Derry and Slaughtneil player Chrissy McKaigue. Chrissy, a dual player of football and
hurling for the club will talk about the success of their small club at 3 levels, football, camogie and hurling.
Tickets cost £25 and are available from Post Office Augher, McKennas Bar, Christine McCarney, Mickey Ben McKenna,
There will be a choice of menu on the night and It is important that you book your tickets early, by Thursday 16th at latest
to accommodate Quinn's corner for catering needs.
