Markievicz Park mast brings in €35,000 for Sligo GAA

Sligo GAA has received an initial payment of €35,000 after giving the green light to a mobile phone mast being erected at Markievicz Park.
The money will be put towards the repayment of the pitch improvements which have been carried out at the county grounds at a cost of €100,000.
The deal with Cignal Communications is believed to be worth up to €65,000 for Sligo GAA.
