Clare forward John Conlon believes its time they turned the tables on Cork.

In recent years, Cork have come out on top when the sides have clashed in the championship and Conlon feels that a change is needed.

Both sides have impressed during the Munster SHC campaign so far and they will do battle in the provincial final.

"Cork have been on top of us in the last few years," Conlon told the Clare Champion. "They won the big games and we have a lot of work to do to turn them over.

"It's going to be a great game. Cork are very skilful, a fantastic team. Their record and history at the moment is better than ours. We are looking forward to the Munster final. That's where we want to be."
