James Burke has been named to start for Kildare in tomorrow's Christy Ring Cup final against London just weeks after beating meningitis.
The 19-year-old Naas man contracted the life-threatening illness back in April but has made a remarkable recovery and will line out for his county at Croke Park two months later!
Wing-forward Burke replaces Barry Cormack in the only change from the 3-18 to 2-13 semi-final win over Derry at Inniskeen two weeks ago.
