Eoin Donnelly says Fermanagh have "a massive opportunity" to make history in Sunday's Ulster SFC final against Donegal.
The Ernesiders are 9/2 underdogs to topple Declan Bonner's men to collect their county's first ever Anglo-Celt Cup and their skipper Donnelly admits that lining-out in Clones this weekend will be a whole new experience.
"I haven't experienced the build-up to an Ulster final before, so I don't know what sort of motivation you need to win your first one," Donnelly is quoted saying by the Irish Daily Mirror.
"It is what it is. It's going to be a big day. But it's great for the county to be involved.
"As a fan, I would just be happy to be there supporting Fermanagh. And as a player, I know we have a massive opportunity."
On Fermanagh's last Ulster final appearance a decade ago, Donnelly recalled: "I remember being there back in 2008 as a supporter and thinking it was fantastic for Fermanagh to get to the final. I thought it was going to happen more often back then, but that hasn't been the case."
