Liam Mellows came in from the cold yesterday to win their first Galway SHC title in 47 years.
There were euphoric scenes after the surprise victory over Gort at Pearse Stadium, with goalkeeper Kenneth Walsh even bursting into song after the presentation of the cup.
The 'Wild Mountain Thyme' was also sung in the Fenor dressing-room after the Waterford club won its first county JHC title in 130 years two years ago.
