Donegal full back Neil McGee will miss Sunday's Ulster SFC final clash with neighbours Fermanagh.
The Gaoth Dobhair clubman was sent off during the semi-final victory over Down and Donegal's appeal to the Central Hearings Committee proved unsuccessful.
This means he will serve an automatic one-match suspension, thereby missing this weekend's Anglo-Celt Cup decider.
The ban represents a significant blow for the Tir Chomail men as Fermanagh are blessed with a strong and physical full forward line of Seamus Quigley, Sean Quigley and Conall Jones, so McGee's considerable presence will certainly be missed.
