How often does something like this happen?
Last night's Leinster minor football championship clash between Louth and Meath at Drogheda's Gaelic Grounds saw two players from the same club line-out against each other.
St Colmcilles in Bettystown, which rests on the Meath/Louth border, were represented on both sides as the Royals scored a 4-14 to 0-12 over the Wee County to secure their third successive round-robin win in the competition.
David Bell started at right corner-forward for the victors while Ruairi Hanlon played the entire 60 minutes at right half-back in the 14-point defeat for the home side.
Last month the pair lined-out together for 'the Cillies' in the county U17 Division 1 final against Seneschalstown in St Lomans Park, Trim.
