I think that match was in Navan, so it sounds like a decent result for Tipp, as I believe we were short a few players, as all teams are at this time of the year. I think we will have a useful minor team for the Munster Championship.

Tipp forwards played well and took their scoring chances better than Limerick. There were good displays from Liam McGrath, Michael Quinlivan and TJ Ryan. A couple of players who missed the game through injury should be back in plenty time for the semi final.

It was an unbelieveable night in Thurles, the best performance I have ever seen from a Tipperary football team. To come from 10 points behind at half time to beat Kerry is the stuff that dreams are made of. It was a privilege to be there. A sincere thank you to everyone of the the young lads that played for Tipp last night. They really showed what pride in the jersey means.
