Clare and Tipperary booked their places in the Munster MHC final last evening.
In the last round of group games, Liam Murphy scored 2-3 as All-Ireland champions Clare made it four wins from four by accounting for Cork by 2-22 to 0-19 at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh, while Tipp edged out an already-eliminated Limerick 0-13 to 0-12 at Rathkeale.
All is not lost for Cork who finish third in the group and will join fourth-place Waterford in the All-Ireland preliminary quarter-finals.
It was level pegging at half-time, 1-9 to 0-12, on Leeside before Clare surged clear after the restart thanks to the scoring exploits of the in-form Murphy, Paul Rodgers, Harry Doherty and Ryan Hayes.
Meanwhile, a late brace of Cillian Minogue points helped Tipp to get the better of Limerick in the other last round tie.
