Congratulations to Summerhill College on their Connacht Colleges A title success over Roscommon CBS. St. John's players were well represented with Paul McNamara, Brian McGovern, Alex Selby, Cathal Jordan, Cian Hough, Conor McGovern, Emmett Flanagan & Evan Tuffy.  Well done to the management team of Barry Convey, Keelan Watters and Liam Og Gormley.

The warm up league Kiernan Cup starts on Saturday 14th February with a home fixture against Coolera/Stranhill in Stenson Park at 2 p.m.

The following week (Sunday February 22nd) the start of the league begins with a tough opener against 2014 Owen B Hunt Champions Tubbercurry in Kilcoyne Park.

Congratulations to St. John's club man Brendan Tierney Marketing & Events Manager of the popular 5th on Teeling live music venue on  receiving the Irish Music Rights Organisation (IMRO) Awards in Dublin on Tuesday evening last. Brendan has played with the St. John's G.A.A. Club for many years and was a member of the victorious St. John's team that won the County Junior football Championship in 2013.
