Our Division 2 team had a well merited victory over Cloonacool on Sunday on a scoreline of 3-11 to 0-7. The first half was well contested with both sides finding it difficult to register scores. St. John's lead at half time by 0-6 to 0-3.

The team worked hard in the second half to run easy winners in the end. A well worked goal from Fiachra Grennan early in the second half and a wonder goal by Andrew Kerr were the pick of the scores. Our last game is against Easkey in Stenson Park.

The Minors are playing St. Mary's at home on Thursday at 7 p.m.
