Drumcliffe/Rosses Point club notes

November 11, 2019

Commiserations to the DRP boys under 13 footballers who were beaten in Sunday's Sligo 'A' Féile final by an impressive Eastern Harps team, on a final scoreline of Eastern Harps 5-10 Drumcliffe/Rosses Point 1-5. Harps will be Sligo's representatives in next year's All-Ireland under 14 Féile. Nonetheless, the players and management deserve great credit for their run in this year's competition. Onwards and upwards…

The club extends best wishes to our senior men’s club captain Neil Ewing and his fiancé Siobhán who tie the knot this weekend.

Well done to Ógie Murphy & Paddy Gormley who were part of the Sligo masters gaelic football team who played Mayo in the Ruddy Cup last Saturday week. Sligo were narrowly beaten by 0-12 to 0-11.

We are hoping to hold the club’s annual Juvenile Awards ceremony before Christmas year – as we round off a memorable 2019 season at underage level. Details will be communicated later this week.
