Here is the 3-2-1 of Best Scores of 2018 in Ladies Gaelic Football from the cameras of Jerome Quinn Media, with Sligo star Katie Walsh winning both the public and experts vote to take first place.

‘Katie throws two dummy solos off either foot and fires it in the top corner for a fantastic score’, says Quinn. ‘It reminds me of Owen Mulligan’s goal for Tyrone against Dublin in 2005 and it was very poignant because Katie’s grandmother passed away in the week of this All Ireland Junior Club Final with Tourlestrane’.

Second place goes to Laura Boylan from Monaghan’s Emmet Og, while Dublin’s Nicole Owens in third place.

‘The quality and standard of all of these scores are top-class and reflect the growth of the game in a year where more than 50,000 attended the All Ireland Finals. There is much to look forward to in 2019’, says Quinn.
