Senior Team

Our King & Moffat senior team were defeated on Sunday last by Clann Na nGael in the second round of the championship in Johnstown. The club wishes Dermot Foley a speedy recovery from hin injury sustained on Sunday. 

 

Junior Team

Our junior team were awarded the game on Friday evening last by St Barrys in the league. Our junior team begin their Championship campaign this weekend when we face Tulsk in Tulsk in the 1st round. 

 

Underage 

Our U-12 team made it 5 wins from 5 on Monday evening with a win over Clann na nGael. They have now qualified for the Spring league final. Our minor team of Kilmore/Shannon Gaels lost to Tulsk on Thursday evening in the league semi final. Our U-14 team ended their league campaign with a defeat in the league semi final by 3 points to St Ciarans. Our U-8 & U-10 teams took part in an undergae blitz in Eire Og on Saturday morning last. 

 

Night At The Races

Our players are holding a fundraiser this Friday night the 26th of May in the Kilmore Inn when we host a night at the races. Horses costing just €20 are on sale from all players and members of the finance Committee. Race sponsorship is also available costing just €50 to sponsor a race. The first race is off at 9.30pm on Friday night in the Kilmore Inn and your support would be appreciated. 

 

Other News

This Sunday night our 50/50 draw will take place in the Kilmore Inn and Mervyn Foleys team are on selling duty. Well done to Natasha Munnelly who was part of the Roscommon team who played Galway on Friday evening last in the U-16 Connacht A final. The club wishes Mervyn Foley a very happy 40th Birthday as Mervyn celebrated the milestone in style at the weekend with a big party in Hillstreet. The Club also wishes our Club President Willie Casserley a very happy 95th Birthday this week.
