Our minor team had a good win over St. Ciarans on Thursday evening last.  They now face St. Brigids on Tuesday evening.  Check fixtures for details.  The U14s had a hard fought victory against a tough Kilbride team.  Well done to the team for a tremendous performance and result.  That was the last game of the set fixtures and they now await the completion of the other teams fixtures to find out their next game.  The Junior A team play Padraig Pearses B in the Hodson Bay Championship on Friday evening 14th at 7.45 in Athleague.  Support would be appreciated. 

Lotto: Lotto jackpot of 3,500 wasnt won in the last draw.  Numbers drawn were 4,7,17,23.  The 20 winners were Patsy Cullen Durmshanbo, Harry Reynolds Elphin, Benny Donagher Flagford, James Costello Croghan, Dave Courtney c/o 4 Provinces.  The Jackpot now stands at 3,550.


Ladies:

The Minors got their championship off to a winning start with a 1-19  to 1-2 win over Strokestown last Tuesday evening.

Aisling Egan, Sarah Surlis, Rachel Mc Dermott, Aisling Burke, Catherine Flynn, Elaine Mc Dermott, Caoimhe O Dowd, Tess Murtagh, Christina Beirne (0-4), Ruth Flynn (0-1), Katie Daly (0-1), Shauna Burke (0-2), Emma O Beirne, Aine O Dowd (1-5), Ellis Conway (0-5), Sinead O Flynn (0-1), Hannah O Dowd.
Their next two fixtures will see them play Boyle at home on Tuesday, 11th, and St. Faithleachs away on Thursday, 20th. Both games set to throw in at 7pm.

The Intermediate ladies secured their fourth win of the championship with a convincing win over Western Gaels on Saturday. Their final group game is against Kilglass on 22nd August.

The U14 girls commence their championship campaign on 16th August versus Michael Glaveys in Croghan.
