Minor hurlers begin campaign

Roscommon minor hurlers begin their Electric Ireland All-Ireland Minor B championship with a home tie against Meath on Saturday afternoon.
Athleague is the venue for this clash as Roscommon have high hopes of doing well in the campaign under the guidance of the management team that includes Kieran Farrell, Joe Connaughton, Francis Kelly and Kevin McGeeney.
Roscommon competed in the Niall McInerney Shield in Galway recently and reached the final of this prestigious competition.
The Rossies will look to the likes of Jack Gunning, Michael Feeley, Gearoid Keenan and Eoghan Costello for inspiration against a Meath side who are confident of doing well in this campaign.
