The junior team got a w/o Roscommon Gael's in the first round of the junior A championship last Sunday. Their next championship game is against St Brigid's on Monday 01st June. The boy's u16 team defeated Elphin last Wednesday in the division three league final. The following is the u16 panel Thomas Hester, Jack Keane, Ruari O Connell, Cian McGovern, Shane Gordon, Karl Mulligan, Michael Kelly, James Larkin, Michael Conroy, Andrew Lyons, Dean Burke Manning, Conor Murray, Donal Brennan, Caolan McHugh, Colm McDermott, Jonathon Hester, Aaron McDermott, David Finneran and Brendan O Brien. The team management is Paddy McDermott, Colm Larkin and Gavin Manning. Congratulations to all concerned. They defeated Kilmore/Shannon Gael's in the first round of the division 2 championship last Friday evening. The u12 boy's team were defeated by Boyle last Monday week, they defeated Oran last Friday. They play Strokestown in O'Rourke Park next Friday at 7pm. The u12 girls were defeated by Oran last week. They now await the knockout stages of the championship. We extend our sympathy to the O'Regan family Knockroe on the death of Michael's mother Eileen O'Regan Gorth Co Galway, the Mulligan family Southpark on the death of James Mulligan and the Fenlon family Arm on the death of Jimmy Fenlon may they rest in peace. There was no winner of the lotto jackpot of €10,700 on Friday 15th May. Numbers drawn on the night were 18, 27, 30 and 36. €50 winners on the night were Annie Diggins, Seamus Beatty, Tina & Ava Caroll and D Roddy. Next weeks jackpot is €10,800 and the draw takes place in Mulvihill's on Friday 22nd May. Tickets on sale in shops and pubs in town or any club official at €2 per panel or three panels for €5. The Annual Lotto Tickets draw took place in The O'Rourke Centre last Friday night, The top prize of €1000 was won by Albert McCormack, and the six prizes of €100 went to Kathleen Curran, V Higgins, Amelia & J Mcdermott, P Fleming and James Keenan. We thank everyone who supported us in this fundraising exercise and also our club members who worked so hard during the last four weeks on the project. Next bingo is in O'Rourke Centre on Friday 22nd May at 8-30pm. The jackpot will be €1,050 on 45 calls or less. Quick lotto is at €2,250. The 25 card game continues next Sunday in the O'Rourke Centre starting at 8-30 pm, refreshments are served and new players are always welcome.
