St Aidans GAA Club Notes

April 20, 2015

Intermediate

Our Intermediate team were beaten by 5 pointson Sunday by Clann na nGael B in Johntown on a scoreline of 2-10 to 11 points.

Underage

Our U16 and U12 footballers were in action over the weekend. The U16 team were defeated by Elphin in Orchard Park on Sunday morning in a game where anything that could go wrong did. The U12s played Tulsk in Tulsk on Sunday morning and were beaten by a physically stronger Tulsk outfit. Hard luck lads and keep up the good work.

The U14 team play this Thursday away to Kilglass Gaels/St Barrys in Termonbarry.

Our Minor team have important fixtures coming up over the next week. Depending on how the playoff went on Monday night they could have to play a semi final on Friday night in Ballyforan. If the playoff went well they will be straight into the league final next Monday night. See fixtures or our facebook page for more details.

Camóige Fun Run

Well done to Four Roads Camóige club who held a 10km fun run on Sunday. It was a terrific event enjoyed by all who took part.

Roscommon Football

The club would like to wish the Roscommon senior footballers the very best of luck in the Division 2 league final at the weekend in Croke Park.

Hard luck to the U21 footballers who were beaten in the All Ireland semi final on Saturday by Tyrone.
