Roscommon under-21 manager Mark Dowd admits that they will face a different sort of system when they take on Tyrone in the All-Ireland football semi-final on Saturday.

The Rossies looked impressive as they defended their Connacht title with a win over Galway in the final, but now they face a Tyrone side that use a defensive system.

However, Dowd admitted to the Roscommon Herald that they have to approach the game differently to the ones that they have played already.

"They have a defensive system which they know to a tee," said Dowd. "They have a definite game plan. All those players know it and they stick to it, regardless of whether they're five points up or five points down. They don't do panic," said Dowd.

"It will be a different kettle of fish. I don't think we'll be going and scoring 3-14 against Tyrone. Our score will probably be low. But it's just a matter of when we have possession that we're making sure we make the best use of it."
