Shannon Gaels club notes

The minor club held a very successful Easter camp last week.  The club would like to thank Tracey Duignan for organising this and also thanks to all the coaches who helped out for the 3 days.  More details and pictures in next weeks edition. 

Kilmore/Shannon Gaels U16 and minor teams were defeated in their league games last week.  Our Junior team secured their first win of the league against Castlerea last Monday.  Best wishes to Noel McDermott who sustained an injury in the game.

Lotto:

There was no winner of lotto jackpot from draw held in Gings on Saturday night.Numbers drawn were 1,5,8 and 20. Winners of 20 euro were John J Kelly Cortober, Robert Gillan Croghan Road, Benny Whelan Gings, Kevin McLoughlin Cortober, Pat Horan Killumod.  Next draw takes place in Croghan Bar Saturday 25th April.

The Club wishes James, Michael and the Roscommon U21 team the very best of luck next Saturday in the All Ireland semi final.


Ladies:
The U16 girls secured their place in the County Final with victory over St. Michael's on Sunday. They now meet Michael Glavey's in the final this Sunday (19th). Time and venue have yet to be confirmed. Best of luck to the girls and management of Tracey Duignan, Alan Burke and Charlie Devanney.
The U14 and Minor Roscommon Ladies teams both recorded victories over Sligo at the weekend. Well done to Ellis Conway and Emer Burke who are part of the U14 panel and the 5 Shannon Gaels ladies in the Minor squad.
The Roscommon Intermediate Ladies also recorded victory in the National League on Sunday, beating Wexford.
The Adult team's re-fixed versus Castlerea is due to be played on Sunday in Castlerea.
The U12s are also in action on Sunday away to Kilglass, Time to be confirmed.
The U14 feile competition kicks off this week with Shannon Gaels playing St, Croan's in Croghan on Tuesday evening at 7pm. Best of luck to all teams.
