St Croan's manager David Casey has no qualms over losing the All-Ireland club IFC final.

The Roscommon and Connacht champions went down to Kerry's Ardfert in the decider at Croke Park last Saturday afternoon.

And although obviously disappointed by the outcome, Casey admitted to the Roscommon Herald that the best team won on the day.

"We didn't play as well as we could have played, but in fairness, we weren't let play either. They were very hungry," said Casey.

"They knew what they wanted and we found it hard in the physical stakes. Their fitness levels were very high. We were up against it. But we had a go. We didn't get the rub of the green at times and I think that came back to haunt us at the end too."
